Nature had given us a nice and virgin universe to live, but man has made it polluted in the name of development. Do all developments need to disturbed the natural equilibrium? This story on newly created hilly state Uttranchal is an effort to see development through environment. The Uttranchal was carved out of Uttar Pradesh on 9 November 2000 as the 27th state of the Indian Union. All above information about state natural resources clearly indicating towards nature’s supported environment in all sphere of life in Uttranchal. It was the part of one of largest Indian state Uttar Pradesh in that era it could not get its share in development as it’s deserved because than political power houses were in plains. But injustice done in past with this hilly land popularly called dev bhomi could be its future, unexplored hydro capacity, hydro-power &virgin pollution free environment, which will be the future high demands commodities in our world. The state has hydro initials of two Major Rivers of nation namely Ganges (Gangotri) and Yamuna (Yamunotri), which are being joined by their tributaries all across the state making this mountainous land, high rich in hydrological resources. In hydro power, it has potential to 15000 Mega watts out of this only 1248MW is explored to date. Pollution level in cities& towns are on high ends in all across the nation, people in future will find difficulty to get pollution free environment around them. Then virgin Uttranchal will be solace place for pollution’s hunted people of nation. To achieve that status in coming era Uttranchal needs followings.
1. Controlled population. As population table shows that 46.69%of Uttranchalis lived in three terrain districts: Haridwar, Dehradun &Uddam Singh nagar, which amounted 16.6% of total area of state. So development to all but little disturbance in natural harmony should be basis of state policies planners.
2. Special industrials zones. It will limit the pollution prone area in state.
3. Multi levels mini environment friendly hydro power projects. To use threshold level of every natural water resources in the state.
4. Preservation of forests.
5. Keep rivers pollution free. This should be the main agendas of uttranchal for future status in water austerities world.
Uttranchal needs only stick to its rich environmental heritage and try to make all around development keeping coordination with nature, not running after urban centric & blind folded industrialization. The nature has created this holly land to serve special role in future polluted situations.

Real estate standards are lower than they were five years ago. When homes sold well, when property was developed at a rapid pace, and most important—when money was plentiful—real estate seemed to have unlimited growth potential.

Such success inspired builders, architects, and property managers to use innovative design concepts to pave the way toward a more environmentally sound future.

Green design was suddenly the rage. Builders used smarter methods, architects focused on sustainability, and owners and renters sought alternative ways to heat, cool, and keep their properties clean.

The green trend is not limited to real estate. Everyday products, food and water supplies, and automobiles began rolling out cleaner, smarter products.

A wonderful new trend was now a thriving reality. Or so we thought. The one thing, the one secret people knew but did not want to address, was that going green was expensive.

By working with green technology, companies and organizations put to good use their increased budgets. That was fine when things were good. But now, well, things aren’t so good. And that has stalled green technology and the movement it inspired.

The real estate market is especially vulnerable to the ups and downs of the economy. Unable to sell homes, builders and realtors must find ways to produce cheaper properties. Thus green building is abandoned for techniques that are considerably more affordable.

Despite the current slowdown, green technology and green building is not going to disappear. It is undoubtedly taking a hit. It is difficult to justify spending more when money is tight. But the benefits and necessity of it is undeniable. Green building and green technology is the future, and businesses must understand this. It will be interesting to see the creative ways realtors and builders implement new ways to build sustainable properties while at the same time conserve money.

The Dallas Morning News ran an article that discussed green trends in real estate.

While some developers might view green building as just a marketing gimmick, industry studies show that these construction techniques will explode during the coming years.

Green building has already risen by five times since 2005 and totals close to $50 billion annually, according to a recent report by McGraw-Hill Construction.

And the outlook is for green construction starts to triple by 2013.

While that news is promising, the article delivers a knock out blow in the next paragraph.

The credit crunch and economic recession have put the brakes on commercial construction starts around the country.

And residential building has plummeted more than 50 percent.

So that means fewer projects – green or otherwise – will be coming out of the ground.

This demonstrates the need to be creative, to employ foresight, and use resourceful materials—the very things green technology is based on—to find our way out of our current economic doldrums.

It is also a good time to be a renter. Apartments in Dallas have remained affordable. The city’s numerous neighborhoods and cultural diversity lend the area a rewarding cosmopolitan attitude. Until the economy revives, and green technology once again becomes the chief approach to building, renting an apartment might be the best choice to make.

Are you looking to raise a "green baby"? While parents certainly don't want to bring up a child with jaudice, there are a number of eco friendly options available when it comes to raising baby green.

Babies have exceptionally sensitive skin and very delicate immune systems so baby items need to be selected with care. ‘Most people understand that residues from everything you put onto skin can be absorbed into the bloodstream and may also be responsible for rashes or irritation,' says Catherine Cervasio, founder of Aromababy. Petro chemically derived ingredients, such as mineral oil, are reported to reduce the skin's ability to ‘breathe'. Cervasio suggests less frequent bathing, less use of commercial products and a more natural approach to personal hygiene for babies and children.

Organic and natural fabrics for clothing and bedding will expose baby to less harmful chemicals and dyes that could be potential allergens. Toys should also be made from natural materials such as wood and cloth. Plastics, while durable, are made from petrochemicals and can contain polyvinyl chloride which has been known to release potentially harmful fumes - you'd be amazed at just how much plastic your child is exposed to from birth.

Food is another area where sustainable, organic choices can be made. First and foremost, breast milk is one of the most nutritious and environmentally friendly foods for baby - just consider the elimination of packaging and food miles. Andrew Radford, from the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action, estimates that if every baby in the US was bottle-fed, almost 86,000 tonnes of tin plate would be required for 550 million discarded formula tins. Formula must also be heated up in plastic bottles, which of course, uses more energy and resources. ‘A 3 month-old bottle-fed baby needs 1 litre of water a day for mixing feeds,' Radford says.

Most parents find that they become much ‘cleaner' and more conscious of germs when they have a young child. The temptation may be to bleach, sanitise and sterilise everything baby can get his hands on. Opt for natural cleaners such as bicarbonate soda and vinegar, they do an effective job and minimise the family's exposure to harmful chemicals.

By taking the extra steps to choose a greener and more sustainable lifestyle from day one, your child can get off on the right foot to being more aware and environmentally conscious. Eco minded parents are most likely to pass their values and principles down to their children. While it seems cliché, children are the future and we will depend on them to continue our quest to protect the environment.

Look for more eco friendly and green baby products on the Green Pages green directory.

Looking to buy or rent a green home? These days, lots of green homes are going on the market as sellers and landlords recognise they're in demand. But how is one to know which homes are truly green?

Here's a checklist of features to look out for and questions to ask to determine the green quality of your next home.

Eco Home Tip #7 Location Location Location - pick a location that's convenient and easy to get to. Close to shops, amenities and public transport will reduce the amount of emissions that come from getting around. Inquire about the council's recycling program.

Eco Home Tip #8 Orient yourself with the right orientation - if a house is to have good eco principles, it will designed with the right orientation. This means that the living areas will face due north, to make the most of the winter sun while allowing the hotter summer sun to pass overhead. Sleeping rooms, meanwhile, will be oriented towards to the South to capture cool summer breezes.

Eco Home tip #9 Cosy is not a four letter word - consider how the space is used as much as the size of it. Oversized houses utilises more resources in both construction and maintenance, while smaller dwellings are cleverly conceived can feel quite spacious.

Eco Home Tip #10 Inquire about insulation - ask about the insulation. Higher R values means the house will better protected against extreme weather elements. See if the windows are double glazed. While you're at it, ask about other green home features such as solar panels and solar hot water. Make your message loud and clear!

Eco Home Tip #11 Good green help - there are a few Australian green realtors, such as ecoproperty, who specialise in green listings. Check the Green Pages green directory for real estate agents who will help you find the perfect green home.

The important thing is to ask before you buy. Even if the real estate agent can't tell you upfront, it's important to let the market know that buyers and renters are looking for this bit of information. While no single home will have all of the sustainable features listed, at least you can get a clear picture of what the potential home has to offer.

I found this the other day while browsing YouTube. If this generator can do what they say it can then our world will be jump stated into a truly green plant. Not only do the inventor claim this will power you house with free energy you'll also be providing energy back to the grid. Their project that the free power generating uni will be available in about a year for around $5,000 dollars. I truly hope these guys have done what they claim and their not using faulty testing equipment. If true we might have to rewrite some of the laws of physics that we've become so happy with.

I was up in Big Bear Lake california yesterday and it was really cool to see the city had put solar panels on top of their bus stops. I wonder if they have the bus shelters completely off the grid and what kind of power the two panels put out.
